Rock Bumps Overview

JConcepts introduces the Rock Bumps tires specifically designed for 2.2” comp crawler competition. The name suggests similarities to a popular dirt and all-terrain tire used for years in the #gojconcepts line-up, the Goose Bumps. The hefty surface area of the pins, combined with horizontal and vertical connector bars bridge together walls of grip to flex, pivot, and conform to just about any terrain.

The large size overall diameter of 5.75” provide ample ground clearance, and the narrow contact patch area increases the pressure applied to each pin to provide jumbo patterns of traction. The center of the tire features a large lug to get the heavy lifting started; the relief edges provide clearance to the next closest pins. Angular traction bars on the edges start the sidewall started and transition to an open shield feature to keep surface area edges present in the design.

The narrow tire carcass, with continuous contour, has major flex characteristics providing even greater conformity to rocks, holes, bumps, and just about anything in its path. Elaborate radial ribs and an array of additional bars on the sidewall of the tire aid in anti-slip, and outside carcass thickening. Embossed JConcepts logos, item name, part number, and sizing help identify the performance item and heritage of the design.

Molded in the exclusive JConcepts sticky green compound, the Rock Bumps tires include React open cell inserts that have a medium feel and fills the tire appropriately to conditions.
