Meet “El Jefe,” the biggest pickup on the shelf! This Revell 1/25 scale 1979 GMC C-35 Dooley Custom Pickup Truck plastic model kit recreates a customized squarebody GMC Dooley styled after an open-road semi, and it has the attitude to match.

Big-rig wheels with six tires and a detailed chassis give it the stance. Custom touches include sky-high exhaust stacks, air horns, rear mud flaps, a step bumper, and a restyled front end inspired by GMC’s General tractor. Lift the opening hood to see the turbo-diesel engine detail. The truck also has a bed-mounted sleeper compartment and side-saddle diesel tanks. An updated decal sheet offers fresh marking options drawn from Revell’s archive release of El Jefe.

The kit has 41 parts, and the finished model is about 9 inches long, a great size for a desk or shelf. It’s Skill Level 4, recommended for ages 12 and up.
